Bael marveled at the smile she gave. His heart raced and he wanted more. Soon a new person entered and called to The Majestic drawing her attention away from Bael. He felt as if someone had stabbed in his heart and left the blade the keep the wound from healing. Bael immediately turned to this new presence and hunched over balancing himself with his left hand foward on the gound. His right hand was on his sword and he was ready to fight for this person he had just met.
A low growl emersed from the bowels of his heart. He did not like this person at all. 'Mags...' He called out to her even though it didn't come out of his mouth. A mischievous smile grew on his face as two lights apeared on both sides on the intruder and soon formed into images of Bael himself. Even with the extra help, he never left his position. Any other time he would of greeted her, but with this new aura over him, he was ready to fight for it.

Elizabeth shrieked quite loudly at the sudden appearance of mirages of the little boy standing beside her. This was a rather extreme reaction, but her mind had no feeling for common sense or reality. Every single nerve ending within her actual brain felt like they had been totally fried. She had to press her hands against the sides of her head with acute force and mutter prayers of protection for her to even feel sane again. After a second of this, her sense gradually returned to her, allowing the fear of the illusions to dissipate. She took a deep, shaky breath and tried to calm herself.
"This game of yours is taking a toll on my health," she said to Athena, her voice still trembling. When she had gathered herself together enough to take another good, hard look over the demon boy, her breath caught in her throat and her heart stopped beating for half a second. She pointed an unsteady finger at him and stated quietly. "It's you! The boy from the Council Room!"
She could remember every moment of that brief meeting sharply. The way even then he had seemed violent towards her, lunging out at her like that for some crazed reason. She had almost been grateful when Axel had tossed him out like a sack of potatoes. Now he was back, facing her with his blind eyes. She wasn't sure what was scarier: being close to him, or being alone with Axel. She could almost guarantee that in any other instance the second would be the most frightening, but right now, this was the worst thing that could have happened. "I-I remember. You lunged at me, a-and I didn't... I didn't know why.."

Bael's eyes were focused and hard. All he wanted to do was lunge at her now and take her out. At The Majestic's command only though. He didn't want to show the ugly side of himself already. 'I don't want to hurt you...' He said in his head as if she could hear him. His body wouldn't budge to any command he gave it.
Another growl emerged and it was obviously directed towards the intruder. His images started walking around her like vultures circling their next meal. Bael could sense Mag's tension. He felt bad for scaring her if he did. Right now all of his anger was focused on this one person standing infront of him.

Athena watched as the two talked rather tensely to each other. She remembered this demon from going to the other universe, but she hadn't really been paying attention. Bael's "clones" were circling around Elizabeth, around and around.
The spell that she had to keep repeating in her mind, carefully shielded from Elizabeth even though she knew her friend wouldn't be prying in her mind, she could feel anger building in her heart. It was harder to remember the spell. Indeed this is what happened when she got in her rages, it was as if someone cleared her mind of everything but one purpose, to kill.
She knew that if she let this anger, and confusion on who to defend, take over nothing good would happen. Taking a deep breath to calm her self she stepped between Elizabeth and Bael. Her arms outstretched she looked at Bael. "Stop." If he could see her eyes they would have looked like living embers, flickering and lashing with anger. The pupils of her eyes had turned diamond shaped, like that of a snakes, revealing some of the danger of her anger.

Bael let out another growl before The Majestic stepped between them. At her command, like a dog, he blinked and stood up. His images dissapeared and he smile as he looked at her. "Hey Mags. How 'bout that flight now?" He almost begged. All of his attention had dropped from the Intruder and turned to his new friend.
He spun around and swiftly walked farther away from them as he hummed. He didn't stray too far. He was just now learning of the limits of how far he had to go from The Majestic before his own thoughts took over. He was scared of his own thoughts sometimes. All the death and demise. His mine is very depressing.
As he turned and came back he slowly analized Mags standing infront of the intruder as if she was protecting her. "Hey." He said quietly, "Who is your friend Mags?" He said as he quickly appeared next to Mags within arm reach. It hurt him to be farther away from the source of his timid mind. He stared at the intruder, not defensively, but puzzled. He was confused on who this person was. "Who is she Mags?" he repeated his question.

Athena lowered her arms as the demon came back to her. The fire in her eyes faded and the snake eyes disappeared completely. even a small smirk played on her lips. He humored her, this Bael, how he could switch from dangerous and deadly to innocent and friendly. Many things in life were like that though, and she herself could be like that.
Taking a step to the side she looked at Elizabeth. "This is Elizabeth, A good friend of mine." To Athena a good friend is what others would call a loyal friend, or someone that you could trust in no matter what. If you didn't know her character you wouldn't realize what a compliment this really was. Her gaze shifted back to Bael. "As for the flight...I'd say that the time is just about right for such a thing. What do you say Elizabeth?"

Elizabeth had immediately drawn her sword that had been sheathed at her side and held it out in front of her with two hands, ready to lop his head off. Her eyes were boring into him, her expression panicky and furious. Her anger had spread into the very inanimate objects around her, sending small pebbles and stones skidding across the floor in a quick flurry. A blurry atmosphere gathered around her, acting as an invisible shield from these "clones." She was just about to lash out; her hands were shaking with anticipation, and her mind was ready to attack at any moment's notice.
Suddenly, she almost stepped out of her trance-like fury for a moment as Athena stepped between them. She noticed immediately the physical and emotional changes that had come over her friend, but yet she did not relax a single muscle in her body or release her stance. She wasn't sure whether the demon boy would take to her command, but just like a small puppy, he heeded his master and bounced right back up. She could just about imagine a tail on his backside, wagging excitedly.
When he snapped up and asked who she was, she was biting back a sharp retort when Athena answered for her. She felt her body go rigid and her heart flare, making her face heat up noticably. How dare she ask such a thing! How dare she allow this nearly insane demon boy in on this precious secret, none the less ride her! Elizabeth straightened up, her sword still protectively at her side. "No," she answered. "I believe this is just about the right time for me to leave." Her voice was ice, monotone, as she turned sharply on her heels and grasped the bumpy entrance wall.
Without turning back to look at Athena, she said, "Don't expect me to cross the world looking for you again. See how much enjoyment that brings you." Without another word, she began the careful decent down the short distance to the hollows below.

Athena stared at Elizabeth, who was starting to descend. Her usually confident eyes flicked slightly with confusion, what had she done? Elizabeth seemed out of sorts today. Her eyes lingered over Bael for a moment and with a nodd, she signall that she was about to follow h er friend. If Bael followed or no didn't bother her at all. Frowning she walked quickly toward her, which is faster than many humans can walk.
It was one of her weak points, just leaving people, she always had done it in her life, and probably always will. It was something that she always had done, mainly because she wasn't used to people caring about her. Her eyes watched the dark figure of her friend before her. So much anger seemed to be bottled up in the small form, it amazed Athena. She had long ago learned how much power that lady before held in that body of hers. Respect was something that Athena had for her, though it was a different type of respect than what many may think. She respected Elizabeth on the battlefield, or in arguments, but other than that, she just treated her as companion. Flicking her amber eyes to Elizabeth she asked, "What is wrong with you today?"
For once her voice was gentle and barely audible. Usually it was confident and lively, but right now, she was slightly confused. She hadn't expected such a sharp retort from Elizabeth. What must have gone on with Axel must have been, draining.

Elizabeth halted in her tracks and didn't speak for a moment. She wasn't sure what to say to get her point across to Athena. There were some things she simply didn't seem to understand. She took a deep, cleansing breath, then turned to face her. Elizabeth's voice was shaky; whether it was from anger or sadness, she couldn't tell. "Me? You think something's wrong with me? What about you? It took you years to trust me with that secret! And yet, just because this malevolent demon pops in by a form of an innocent child, you feel it safe."
Elizabeth took her thick braid between her hands and twisted it while trying to avoid Athena's eyes. She knew it was somewhat of a childish argument, but she had a right to question her friend. What was it that made him so different? For all she could tell, he was probably about the worst person to tell anything. When she had been in the Council Room, face to face with Axel, she could just about feel the waves of almost malicious motivation and drive floating freely off of his small frame. Axel was so strong, so powerful, but yet he had taken on a different light with Bael's presence. It was frightening.
Elizabeth bit her lip, unsure if she should mention this. It did carry some importance. Perhaps it would make her understand. "If even Death is wary of him... There must be something there." She looked back up and met Athena's eyes. "I'm worried for you."

Athena's face showed no emotion, nothing seemed to effect on that serene surface as Elizabeth spoke. But her mind was whirling slightly. had she been wrong to trust in the demon? "Don't think I just spit out the secret to him Elizabeth. He trusted in me, and though I avoided the question once, it came up again, and since he had revealed much, I had revealed nothing. It was only right." Her voice was serious as she gazed at Elizabeth. "But yes, there is much to fear in him. There is a strength in him that I can sense, one that suprised me in such a small form. Yet there is something else, something I can't explain about him." She looked at the ground silently trying to find words, yet none came.
Looking up at Elizabeth she thought she sensed some jealousy in her friend's words. Leaning forward so that only she could hear she whispered, "Do not think he was going to get the most comfortable spot." She smirked slightly. "After all only one can fit on my back..."

Bael had turned invisible and was slowly stalking the whole situation. 'What could I say?' He thought to himself. He still remained relatively close to Mags as he circled them every now and then to get ever perspective from the arguement he could. If this New One dare tried to threated his Majestic he was prepared.
'What is there to say?' A voice echoed in his head. Soon he was debating with himself inside his head. As arguments flew back and forth between both ideas he grew a headache. Soon enough it seemed arrows were now flying between each party and it was breaking into an all-out total war. 'This is not his battle.' he repeated in his head calming the war. 'Don't get too attached to Mags.' He told himself, 'It looks like you're getting kicked out.' He was crouching now, still fully invisible, watching the New One's every move, ready to strike at the moments notice.

Elizabeth looked at her friend with a frustrated expression. There was just something that Athena never seemed to understand. She couldn't understand whether it was just because she herself was more sensitive to waves such as this, which made everyone else appear ignorant, or if Athena was truly oblivious. She never considered her friend to be dull; being a dragon only further displayed her intelligence. Perhaps their frames of reference were just far too unmatched to even compare. She wouldn't trust Bael as far as she could throw him, which, regrettably, was probably too far to make a proper point. It took her quite some time to open up to anyone, Athena not an exception. It had taken her a considerable amount of effort to allow her dragon friend into her life. Elizabeth felt there was only one person anyone could ever consider fully trusting; theirselves. Even then, there are some occasions when one should be wary of their own conciense.
She looked at her friend with an eye of unsurety, not sure if she was toying with her or being completely truthful. Deciding it didn't really matter either way, she smiled wryly and responded, "You see right through me. It's frightening, actually." Her anger had not completely dissolved, but she was willing to tolerate the strange child, even if he truly had not a childlike characteristic in his whole being. "I suppose... I could accompany you," she admitted evasively, not looking at Athena directly. Her eyes were drifting over toward the direction Bael was previously in, surprised that her eyes did not meet him. However, she could still feel his presence floating around somewhere in this cavern. She could force herself to tolerate him. Maybe.
((I FIXED IT, SO YOU CAN STOP WHINING NOW BEN!! >.>))

"Well then.." Athena's mouth twisted into a grin as her eyes shifted into the eyes of snakes. "Let's not waste time then." Holding her hand up to her mouth a ball of flame was created and standing back she seemed to toss the flame infront of her. The orb was sent spining around her as the flames rose three stories high.
If you could have seen through the flame you would have seen her thrown to the ground, her fingers turning to claws, her golden hair, tumbling down from the bun covered her body in it's golden ripples. then as she opened her eyes she body shifted into a dragons. The fire cleared and there she stood the golden beast she was. Terrifying to most, yet beautiful to others. Her dagger like claws sank into the ground as she took a step toward Elizabeth. "I do say I enjoy this form better.." A smile crossed her scaly lips as she lowered her head to Elizabeth's height. Looking over where Bael was she tilted her head to the side. "Where is my little friend anyways?" She looked at Elizabeth's obvious distaste about the boy and she smiled slightly and looked at her. "The sooner you climb on the sooner we can be out of this place, the sooner you won't be so oppressed by these spirits."

The transformation Athena endured never ceased to amaze Elizabeth. She always wondered how it felt, what Athena saw, the way her body must cringe. Unimaginable. If she were in Athena's place, she'd probably commit herself to one form for her entire life, too afraid to go through the vulnerable process of transforming. She couldn't allow her defenses to be down for even that period of time. Elizabeth smiled deviously; perhaps he had really gone off somewhere. That would be about the best thing that happened in her entire bloody day here. Her luck, however, wasn't the best, so she didn't have any high hopes. Sighing, she stalked over submissively and hung her arm over Athena's back. "You'd better not drop me somewhere and leave me to die," she grumbled, feeling spiteful.
With a hefty effort, Elizabeth managed to swing her toned leg over Athena's side and situated herself in a comfortable position. "Spirits aren't the only thing oppressing me here, believe me," she added grimly. She pulled back her grey hood and revealed her thick braided hair. Taking her finger she untied the small ribbon at the end of the braid, setting it free to lay on her shoulders. It was always such a freeing feeling, having one's hair blow in the wind. "...Well then. Whenever you decide to show up, demon boy," she called out impatiently.

Bael left out a low sigh that sounded more like a growl. "I've been here..." He said as a light glow formed behind Elizabeth and he appeared behind her facing the opposite direction. "I do beleive I have been here before you..." He almost snickered. 'This is going to be a long trip...' He thought to himself.
He was sitting with one leg up and his arm resting on his knee. He stared blindly into the nothingness of his world. His hair on the back of his neck sharply stood up as a light wind blew around him. The size of the beast he was on was unbeleivable when he finally got a perspective of it. The wind blew around every object in the area and it gave him a general location and size of everything and everyone. "I'm impressed Mags..." He muttered. "I never thought you'd be so grotesquely beautiful. The size and power behind it is intimidating enough, I don't see how people would have the guts to try adn fight your type." He smirked as he applauded his newly found friend. "I'm ready for take off whenever you are." He said for Mags to hear. He then quieted his voice to a silent murmur, "I just hope Elizabeth can hold on..." He finished with a sly grin on his face.
