Trees thicker than a jungle, animals more vicious than an intoxicated Axel, and weather as tumultuous as a rapid ravine, these dark and merciless outlands are not to be contended with. This is the only passage between the Nomad lands and the Lands of Death, ergo the only passage between the Nomad lands and the rest of Eldarwin. The entire Wilderness itself is like a living spirit. It changes and shifts climates and environments as it pleases. This magically enhanced deadland was created by the Guardians to dissuade any Banished creatures from lurking back into the main lands. The Wilderness knows who should and should not be trekking through it and will react accordingly. So if you're a Banished with bad intentions, watch out. The Wilderness will wreak its vengeful power on you.
