Athena's long neck curved as a twisted smile came to her scaly lips. Her golden eyes looked at Bael, "And I would suggest that you hang on more than Elizabeth, it will be a rocky ride for you." Crouching to the gorund the muscles in her legs became as taunt as spring and with a mighty thrust she launched herself up into the air. The sensation, to those not used to dragon flight, would feel like the very ground beneath you had a major earthquake. Not many could keep their balance.
It wasn't long before they were miles above the ground. The blue skies were calling to Athena, and she was coming running to their call. It felt good to have the wind rustling her wings, and the feeling of the cool air against her scales. To those on the ground it would have seemed like she was a part of the sun, for the rays of the sun, no longer hindered by the darkness of the hollows, seemed to resided in every scale on her body. A roar broked through the silence as she did a lofty loop. ONe that wouldn't upset elizabeth, but would give a great rush.
Straightening out into a gliding position, the feeling of fire deep within her came to her knowledge, letting out a stream of golden fire from her jaws. The fire, first came out as a long stream, but then took the form of butterflies and flitted around her. It was so good to be free. She could do a little bit of magic while she had the energy. Why not? Letting out a puff of smoke she let out a sigh of contentment, "So what do you think little demon boy?"

Bael had moved his leg down and dug his sword part way into her tail to hold on. The sword only went in a couple inches not even breaking the scales. "I am impressed I must say." He said as he held on. "Though I think I prefer the ground..." Wind was rushing around them so he was getting clear vision of everything but it was just them. If a bird had flown by he would not have even seen it.
Even though he easily can jump instantly into light speed, he still runs blind. He usually run to where they were because he moves so fast that he could get there before they moved. "I must say this is unpleasant, but I do see the power that striking above can prove." He muttered as he slowly regained balance, but still holding onto the sword. "Where are we going anyways?" He asked as he swayed a bit.

Athena let out a little laugh as her wings spread as far as they could go, gliding smoothly. "You landlubbers just don't know what truly is spectacular. You think yourselves so strong and proud, but all you have to do is send some wind beneath their feet and all of their strength is removed. They are left groveling, screaming for help." Her eagle sharp eyes gazed down at the ground far below, though the vision was soon blocked out due to the fact of them passing through a cloud. A smirk came to her lips, "Many "brave", as you would call them, warriors have met their demise, this way. For they were foolish enough to try and kill a dragon." Her eyes flamed with fury at the thought as her amber eyes shifted back to Bael, "You better be glad that I am giving you some slack with that sword in my scales, being your first time traveling the skies. Many would have died for a lesser motion against me. Ask Elizabeth." Her eyes then shifter to Elizabeth, "Am I getting weak Elizabeth?" She laughed as she turned her attention back to where they were going, "As for where we are going...Ask Elizabeth, wherever she wished I will take her. After all, I think her feet need some rest after chasing after me."

Elizabeth closed her eyes and breathed evenly through her nose as Athena lurched upward. Her stomach always dropped about ten feet whenever they first took off, but this time she would be prepared. She squeezed her abdomen as tightly as possible until Athena was gliding along, no longer sloping upward. Her grip released, followed by a huge sigh. Suddenly forgetting where she was, she hastily gripped back onto Athena's scales, nearly losing her balance in the process. When she roared rather loudly, elizabeth winced with displeasure. "I wish you wouldn't do that when you already know I have a headache," she grumbled.
Deciding there wasn't much chance of her falling off, she decided to do a bit of meditation to allow her thoughts a free flow. Awkwardly she pulled her legs up from Athena's sides and pulled them closer to her chest. Gently her eyes closed and her hands wrapped around her ankles. The only thing she felt was the pleasant rushing wind blowing past her ears. Her mind closed off completely to everything surrounding her; the demon sitting behind her, the scaly skin beneath her, the stark grey sky above her. Nothing but her and her conciense, a one on one time of rest. Every time Athena spoke her name, her hands would twitch and her right eye would wince slightly. Finally, her concentration completely broken, she forced open one eye when Athena asked her a question. "Your body may be, but your voice certainly isn't," she answered, rubbing her temples.
The only place she thought of going to was far beyond where Athena could ever travel. Nowhere felt safe anymore. Everyone had to live in fear, day by day, wondering if that could be the day that Axel would come knocking on their door with shadowy hands. No one expected much from life anymore, that was for sure. She blew a strand of hair from her face and rested her chin on her palm. "Where can we go anymore, hm.. This whole world has gone practically insane."

Athena smirked slightly and glided down on a place that she saw below. Hopefully such a place would give them all the needed rest, or really just the other two. She knew that Elizabeth would be to tired from flying and from her little experience to defend herself against anything terrible. So Athena spotted a place.
Diverting into lofty spiraling circles she descended gently onto the place beneath her, the The Shores of Serenity. Hopefully the gentle lapping of the water would soothe Elizabeth's nerves some.

Bael rumbled as the beast under him came to a stop on the ground. "Where are we?" he asked as he ripped his sword out of the dragon's scales and hopped off. He quickly dashed off into the woods and then back on the opposite side ofthe clearing. "Doesn't look like anyone is around, then again... I'm blind so what do I know?" He grinned widely as he ran over the Mags's head to grab her attention.
"That was fun!" He exclamed. "I wanna do it again." In a flash he was next to Elizabeth, "DId you have fun?" he asked quickly. "The wind blowing my favorite part. What was yours!?" He asked as he gazed into her eyes. 'I wonder what she is thinking...' He thought to himself. 'Oh wait! This is the woman that tapped into my memories!' After his remembrance of the incident he quickly looked away. "You're not getting into my head again..." He said as he let him mind dwell into nothingness, "Not thoughts for you to read." He smiled dumbfully.

Athena's eyes blazed with amusement as the demon flitted from place to place, babbling in excitement. Latting out a deep roaring laugh she said to him, "I'm glad you liked it. You did pretty good for a first time flyer.. Elizabeth here.. didn't have quite such a peaceful ride.." Elizabeth hadn't moved or said anything so Athena picked her up gently with her mouth and set her on the shores about her.
Eyeing Elizabeth critically her head tilted, "hmph, you must have been pretty worn out..." Her blazing eyes turned back to Bael, "I better turn back, for though there is no one else in site, people always seem to appear.....out of no where.."
