Axel laughed a dramatic, evil laugh before holding out his hand to her melodramatically. "Come, child... Come into the darkness," he hissed. He reached down and grabbed her hand. His eyes and amulet flashed over, and a dark shadow began to uprise beneath his feet. "Now don't get scared. If you panic, you can get lost between worlds. So in other words..." He smirked deviously. "Don't freak and run."
The shadow formed into two hands, intertwining and twisting all around Axel and Miriel. They welcomed her as if she were an old friend, feeling her energy and spirit. When they had gone in every direction possible, suddenly they fell flat and completely dissipated. "Now, whatever you do..." A formation of light quivered above them. "Don't move!" A huge bolt of red lightning came plummeting down from the sky above them. Instead of hitting and potentially killing them both, the volts surrounded them, making them shoot up into the skies above them.
