The stars seemed to shine with all their power down on the form of a girl. Her blond hair shone like polished gold in the pale light. It seemed as though all the light of the universe focused on her, lighting her slender graceful figure. She seemed to fit in this surrounding, graceful and elegance showed in her every movement, just like the flower that she was stroking to the right. It's blue petals seemed to be the color of the midnight sky, and the edges seemed as if they were kissed by star, being a silvery white. "The heavens blossom.." It truly looked like the starry sky had leaped into those slender petals, and stayed there. It was a rare blossom that had much healing power, and it happened to be the girls favorite.
As she stood up her blue eyes rose to the stars. Her dress was a powder blue, the color of her eyes, and showed off her figure, yet wasn't revealing. The white sleeves fell over her thin wrists, showing her slightly tanned skin. Her golden hair was tumbling down her back, pulled back from her hair in a braid kept the hair away, and in control, yet allowed it to be free. The garden was breathtaking, this, Miriel knew, was going to be her secret hideout if she needed one. A smile graced her lips and seemed to cause more like to surround her. Holding out her hand she concentrated on it. A ball of light rose from her hand and took the form of a butterfly. The wings fluttered for a moment, as if it had just woken up. Then it leaped out of her hand and fluttered around her, and the flowers. A second one fluttered from Miriel's hand and chased after it. She had never had such control over her light, nor had she had enough energy to produce such things. For every detail on the Butterfly was perfect, down to the last spidery leg. " I think I am going to like this." She muttered as she watched the butterflies flutter around. Her brow furrowed slightly in concentration.

Raphael strolled peacefully through the tranquil garden. The mixtures of the aromas were simply divine. So many pleasant, pugnent scents in one place made his nose tingle. He then noticed someone in the distance with long, golden hair. He smirked. He almost expected Miriel to be here. She certainly had a curious eye, and he knew she would find pleasure within this place. He walked casually over toward her, stopping to pull a bright green apple off a healthy looking tree. He took a bite, his teeth sinking into the cool, crisp fruit.
A genuine smile on his face, he asked her, "Enjoying the view?" There were questions burning in his mind, but he didn't want to throw too much at her at once. He wanted to know what was going on between her and Axel. It certainly wasn't anything normal or cordial. He didn't particularly want to be nosey, but his curiousity outweighed his guilt.

Miriel turned, she hadn't heard the footsteps of Raphael approaching. The butterflies fluttered to her and then dissolved, their light fading into darkness. She smiled at him, " How could I not?" She looked down at the blue and silver blossom and touched it gently before straightening and looking at Raphael. "What brings you out here the flowers, or the conversation?" She smiled brightly at him. She knew that most likely Raphael had either something to tell her, or something to ask her. She doubted that he had just wandered out here and stumbled upon her.
In the back of her mind she wondered what Axel was up to, though she thought he had heard snoring on the way here. She wondered how he could living in such a room, though...It did seem to reflect who he was.

Raphael smiled slyly. She could see right through him. "Both, I suppose." With his hands in his pockets, he walked in a circle casually, glancing down at the rainbow of flowers occasionally. He stopped when something suddenly caught his eye. Leaning down he plucked a flower that looked to have not bloomed yet. He furrowed his brow in frustration, examining the peculiar plant. Out of pure whim, he blew gently on it. The bright blue petals bursted from the closure, their black markings absolutely exquisite. "Well, isn't that peculiar."
He absentmindedly ran his finger over the smooth surface, examining the stem and pistil. "If you don't mind my asking..." he glanced back up at her with his finger still on the petals. "What, would you say, is your relationship with Axel?" He felt that beating around the bush was useless.

curious eyes watched Raphael as he blew gently at a flower, it's delicate petals burst open and seemed pleased at finally being able to open and show off its beauty. the regular smile played on her lips as she tried to keep a straight face. It was useless.
Nothing could have prepared her for his question and her eyes widened slightly as he asked. The slightest color came to her cheeks, as she tried to find word. A relationship with Axel? Was Raphael going mad? "I...I don't know what you are talking about.. " She blinked at him, her brow furrowed slightly in confusion. "If your talking about the piano playing.. I just asked him if he played..though I must admit I am glad to call him a friend. But perhaps its to early to say that." She looked at him. "Why?" Oh Why was her heart beating so fast at the mention of Axel. She barely knew the man.

Raphael looked at her without blinking, seeing what he could derive from her body language. He felt there was something she wasn't mentioning, something maybe she didn't even recognize. "I'm not so sure he thinks that is the case." Axel certainly was acting very bizzare, especially for him. Would he have been disappointed if he heard what Miriel had just said? Would he be completely indifferent? Axel's heart was a complex web of twisted emotions. Not even he could completely understand it. You never did know what response you would derive from him.
"He seems to act quite differently when it comes to you," he added, thinking out loud. He certainly didn't have that same angry, "screw you" aura when Miriel was around. It was still present, but dulled and hidden to the point where it was barely noticable. It was a pleasant change, but certainly an odd one.

Dai was walking in the Guardians' universe to try and find Raphael. He was walking down the rows of the gardens really fast to make sure he wasn't late to meet up with the girl and the dragon. He was at the end of the row Raphael and some lady were in. He ran down to them. "Raphael. Good thing I found you. I need you to come to your home in the other world with me. It's really important, and I'm sorry for interrupting your talk with this woman." He said, sort of out of breath. His eyes showed no sign of lies as he looked at the Life Guardian.

Miriel opened her mouth to answer, when she found that she had nothing to say. Just then a cry came out from someone. She turned her head and saw a younger guy come running toward them, talking about Raphael returning home. Her blue eyes said their thanks silently to him. For after Raphael had asked, her mind had been whirling for an answer, but not even she could figure out how she truly felt. Reaching up she touched ti tips of her ears, and feeling the warmth knew that they were a slight pink from embarrassment. Usually her emotions were so clear to her, but now. Oh, what was going on with her?

Raphael was still holding out for an answer, as if Dai had never interrupted. Miriel seemed to be confused, maybe even embarrassed. He was prepared to press her, when suddenly Dai mentioned that whatever it was was really important. What could be so important that he had to throw himself in the middle of their conversation? With a look of frustration, he sighed in defeat. "Very well. I apologize, Miriel, for leaving so abruptly like this. That is, unless you would like to accompany me." It would be nice to have her as a traveling companion. It would also give him another chance to get some answers.

Dai stood while Raphael was more than likely debating whether or not to go. He was worride that he would stay here without going at all. His eyes flipped over to the woman. Apparently she was the new Light Guardian he heard about. "It's nice to meet the new Guardian of Light. I'm Dai, the Guardian of Wizards." He said, to introduce himself to her. He never forgot to remember his manners. Most of the time anyway. "Yes, you can come if you wish." He smiled a bit.

Miriel smiled and curtsied slightly to him, "Hello Dai, the wizard. I am Miriel." She Smiled and looked at Raphael, glad for a change of subject. "Then I will go." She wondered what was so important, but she knew she would find out. Nervousness filled her stomach. Would he take this time to give her answers, or would he drop the subject? Oh why was Raphael prying so much, did it really matter what Axel and her did together. She didn't know anything that forbidding the guardians for being friends. She knew that he was perhaps looking out for her, yet she was unused to this attention that she was getting, after all she had been a loner for so long.

Raphael looked at them both before taking a step towards Miriel. "I presume we will meet you there, Dai?" He said this, knowing Miriel most likely wouldn't know the ins and outs of teleportation. Dai had at least a bit of experience, so he would most likely be fine on his own. Raphael placed a hand on Miriel's shoulder. "I do suppose this will be your first lesson," he said with a wink. He closed his eyes and concentrated on where he wanted to be taken, along with Miriel. He felt his amulet reverberating, agreeing to do what was requested. They were both encased with strips of white light, then they suddenly both vanished, leaving Dai alone in the garden.
