Axel looked around the crumbling village. The whole town was flooded with pale, skinny little people. He had always felt this was a bad place to make a civilization. There's hardly any light, and food is scarce. But it's what they had wanted. Nonchalantly he padded down the cobblestone streets, horse carriages rushing every which way. People had stopped their work to watch his movement, some eyes wide with amazement, other with fear. Some even bowed their heads respectfully towards him. Wow... What have they been taught..? he thought quietly, the respect freaking him out a bit. He glanced casually at the different vendors and stores until he came upon his destination: the winery. Pushing the door open, a small bell tingled in the silent room. Dust particles were floating everywhere, and Axel coughed once or twice. A middle aged, whiskery man stepped out from the back room and looked up at his customer. His face went completely white. Axel rolled his eyes and said quietly, "I'm just here for your inventory, my good man. No need to show such fear." The man put a hand over his heart and took a deep exhale. "What can I do ya fer, Mr. Guardian Sir?" he asked in a heavy accent. "I'd like a bottle of your strongest." He chuckled hoarsely. "Our strongest is enough to knock the likes of yer common folk wit'in a few gulps." Axel nodded. "Perfect." Looking a bit confused, the man scurried back into the room and returned with a glass bottle, filled with an amber liquid. Axel dropped some coins into the man's hand and stalked out, the bottle in his hand.

(is it all right if I post? I'm really bored and I didn't want to look if I left forever) Rokkusannu with her fan, closed in her hand. Looking around seeing everything in sorrow. She flicked her hair off of her eyes then she blinked. Looking around again, seeing no one of her kind yet. Being the Gaurdian of the Witches/Warlocks can have its bad sides. Even controlling your own powers... she trailed off as she thought. She sighed as she saw this town in sorrow. If only there were magic to help this but, not even I can help, she thought. She opened her Fan and being to blow some wind on herself in the heat. She couldn't stop thinking in how to help this town. What if they decided that I was an evil witch, and not a normal one? It is true that I'm the Gaurdian of the Witches and Warlocks, but I don't know. Then a woman looked at Rokkusannu in fear. She whispered something to her children. Rokkusannu can hear her and the woman stood up. "Would you want some water?" she asked. Rokkusannu stared blankly at her. "No need. But I'll gladly give you some coins," Rokkusannu told her. Rokkusannu can have a heart for others when they need help. She doesn't spend her time with liers and trouble-makers. Rokkusannu's Fan of Whispering Truths doesn't only reveal if a person is lying or not but, helps her do magic. She pulled out her hand and fanned it. There appeared coins and she gave them to the woman. The woman said, "thank you, Gaurdian." She turned and put the money in her pocket. She then walked towards her children and went buying some food. Rokkusannu turned herself, still walking she saw the Gaurdian of Death, Axel. Not surprised to see him she blinked again. "How can I greet the Gaurdian of Death?" she asked. She walked towards him.

((Yah, it's fine ^^)) Axel's eyes shifted towards a girl he knew to be Rokkusanu, the Guardian of her kind. "Doing a bit of charity work, hm.." He muttered, seeing the family with the newly laid coins in their hands. He had never thought giving to the "poor" did any favors. It made you have less, and often times the town would begin to expect favors of you. That was certainly not something he needed. Besides, he felt that kind of charity was just a dirty political trick. Almost as bad as hugging puppies. Perhaps it was just his cynical frame of mind that thought that way, but it didn't matter to him.
"Do you need something from me, or do you just enjoy prancing up to whomever you please?" he asked with a tinge of annoyance. She wasn't really bothering him all that much; he wasn't doing anything in particular. But he had a feeling that relations between himself and others was getting a bit too comfortable for his liking.

Rokkusannu scoffed. "You don't like saying hi?" she asked as she raised an eyebrow. She kept her folding fan closed. A sudden hot breeze started to blow as Rokkusannu blinked. I can't make him mad, just because of my anger, she thought. She kept her temper at a low level. "If you want me to leave then I would," she said to him. She turned herself and walked away before she hears a reply from him. I need to find more Witches and Warlocks she made it clear to herself. She then went to a small corner and scrunched herself through there. She then shape-shifted into a black cat and left her folding fan in her teeth. She then ran away from this dying town and tried to find a new one or even a forest to find herbs.

Axel watched after her with a confused look on his face. "...Goodbye?" Shrugging it off, he trudged down the rocky streets and the smell of fish and produce slammed against his nostrils. He held back the urge to cough. So many people did the same thing in a grouping that it defeated the purpose. They needed some form of organization in this city, but who was here to provide it? He grunted with frustration. Just another of the many reasons why the Guardian Wars was such a screwy idea.
Feeling exhausted, he slumped down into a rusty metal bench outside of a blacksmith's workplace. He could feel the wary eyes of the townspeople boring into him. That was really the only thing that truly sucked about being a Guardian. You were never left unwatched. His eyes roamed the area, taking it all in. What would it be like to live among these people, milling around and minding your own business?
He sunk deeper into the uncomfortable bench. He closed his eyes, wishing to rest for just a moment. His mind was still alert, just waiting to get interrupted. It always happened without fail.
