Elizabeth sighed with relief as Ahena dropped the wizard. At least this wouldn't turn into a horror story of a crazed dragon murdering a guardian. She continued to wriggle in the vines, managing to cut them with telekinesis, seeing as the boy was distracted. Dropping to the ground with an "oof," she ran her fingers through her hair which was a complete mess. She meerly glanced over with indifference at the wizard just to make sure that Athena didn't permanently paralyze anything. Her violin was still lying on the ground beside her from when she had dropped it by being thrust up into the air. She picked it up and examined it with a frown. Hopefully it didn't suffer too much damage.

Dai got a little scared when he was going to the ground. Just as he was about to cast a spell to save himself the dragon slowed and landed normally. He fell onto the ground and looked over at the girl. She managed to escape from his vines. He walked over to her. "I'm not going to do anything. Does your instrument need repair? I can do it if it does." He said with a smile. It was a good thing he wasn't one to hold a grudge. Unless you did something seriously horrible and it effected him a lot.

Athena kept cleaning her talon, it was as if she had touched something filthy and it had tainted her. But after a while she set it down and glared suspiciously at the wizard. A puff of smoke came from her mouth has she sighed and murmured quietly to herself. Flapping her wings gently she pinned them to her back and sat down. The flying had felt good, that was for sure. As she gazed over at the wizard and Elizabeth she watched. This wizard was certainly different than the others she had encountered. Perhaps it was good that she hadn't snuffed out his life. "Though he didn't deserve such a death." She shook her head and glared at him.

Elizabeth's head whipped up at the sound of a voice. She hadn't been paying attention, and her mind was buzzing with too many thoughts to hear any footsteps. The initial shock wore off as soon as she saw who it was. She held her violin back with suspicion, not sure if she should trust him. Glancing over at Athena, she laughed inside at the sight of her removing any presence of this wizard from her talons. She looked back at the wizard and tentatively asked while holding her instrument out, "And what exactly is it that you can do?"

Dai took a look at the dragon. She was cleaning the talons she had him in. 'That is mean...' He thought with a sigh. He didn't smell, he made sure not to. His mind told him to sniff himself but then he didnt because that would definitely be weird. Then he turned his attention back to the girl. She asked him what it is that he could do. "Well, just about anything to repair it really." He said. His hand that was holding the staff started tapping his fingers on it.

Athena glared at the wizard and hissed, " Oh excuse me, perhaps I should start over again. I would be more than obliged to take you on another ride." Her eyes glinted sharply she she examined her talon again. "I must remind myself not to eat with that talon, disgusting....." She murmured to herself. Glancing at her scales she eyed them critically before she was satisfied that they were in pristine condition. Then she turned her attention back to Elizabeth and te wizard who seemed to be discussing something with the violin. Athena's eyes narrowed, ' If you put one scratch on that thing....." She waddled forward and glared at the Wizard. The rest of the sentence she left hanging, he probably got the message, and if he didn't, she would make sure to knock some sense into him. Dragons didn't warm up to new people very quickly, being suspicious creatures. It had taken Elizabeth and her a while to warm up to eac other, and in fact, the friendship had started along the same pathway as this one did. Though a little less violent....

Elizabeth was fighting back a grin at Athena's obvious distaste. She didn't laugh often; grinning with amusement was about the closest she got. She felt that there was far too much in the world that was negative to be thriving in what was positive for only a short time. It seemed frivilous, wasteful. Her hands were still gripping the violin tightly for she was unsure of whether or not to trust this clumsy oaf of a guardian. Then again, she thought, some of the most powerful beings are complete clutzes... Warily, she held out her violin to him, watching it with a careful eye. She agreed with Athena. He certainly would get it if anything happened to her violin.

"No, no more rides, please. I've had enought for at least a week. Unless it was on your back, which I very highly doubt, I dont want to." Dai said. He took the violin with care. "I know. I won't do anything to harm it." He said with a smile. He held it in one hand and began a spell. It continued for a few seconds and then he stopped. The violin began fixing itself wherever there was any imperfections. It even got a little shinier. "Here you go, One fixed up violin for you." He said with a grin.

Athena glared at the wizard again her eyes were like embers. "I'm not a horse that you can hop on and tell me where to go you know." She watched at the violin turned back to normal by itself. She had to admit that this guy did know his spells. but of course she wasn't going to say anything. "Probably would go straight to that head of his." She just kept glaring at him in a 'You are lucky this time but I'm watching you' sort of way. With a huff she sat down and curled her tail around her legs like a cat. "You cal that magic? Looked better before." She glared at him, though her eyes did have a slight glimmer of respect. He had definitely proved to be stronger than she had thought.

Elizabeth snatched her violin back and ran a critical eye over the surface. He did a pretty decent job, if she had to be honest. She just smirked at Athena's grumbling and said, "Come on, Athena.. He did an alright job.." She placed it gently back into her traveling case. "I wouldn't mind a flight, actually..." she said quietly, just trying to annoy Athena. It was something so typical of friends. She knew just the things to say to get on Athena's nerves, so obviously she just had to do it. The forest, she noticed, seemed dead. There was hardly any activity from any source of life. She was expanding her mental barriers, searching around and listening to the simplistic, fleeting thoughts of the little critters around her. They were few and scattered, something that was certainly not natural. I wonder if wizard boy here could fix that, she thought grudgingly.

"I know." Dai said with a smile, "I never said I wanted you to." He added. His eyes wandered back over to the dragon, "Sorry I ruined it then." He said with a fake frown. He smiled a bit when the girl complimented him a little. His eyes went back to her as he felt her mind sort of slide against his when she expanded her mental barriers. As a relfex he instantly used his mental protection spell. He was taking a step back and tripped over a root. He let out a little yell as he fell onto his back. "That hurt... Stupid root."

Athena turned to Elizabeth and brought her face right next to her friends. Everything about her, her pose her body language, seemed to scream anger. But if you knew where to look, you would notice her eyes twinkling with playfulness, her talons didn't dig into the ground with anger, and the tip of her tail twitched slightly in amusement. Narrowing her eyes she seemed to hiss, " Well then, I will take you on a little ride." She held this gaze with her friend for a moment before puffing a little cloud of smoke in her friends face. " That is after I get something to eat. I'm starving.. and wonder boy over there." She glanced at Dai, " Is starting to look like a tasty morsel." She turned quickly and sauntered off in the search of some critter to eat. She was surprised that she had lasted this long without eating, usually after transformation a ravenous appetite took over her and she had to go eat something. Her large figure disappeared for a moment in the brambles and thorns, whose long thorns didn't bother or penetrate the diamond hard scales of Athena. (She'll be back don't worry)

Elizabeth wrinkled up her nose as smoke was blown into her face. Her plan had worked perfectly. She smiled as Athena took off in search of prey. "Well I suppose that's-Oh!" Elizabeth's knees began to shake as she blacked out completely. The last thing she felt was her body hitting against the ground. After that, she felt absolutely nothing. What she saw, however, was far more frightening.
The sky was a firey red, quite an unnatural color. There seemed to be hints of snow laying on the ground, but how could that be? She could see above, the clouds a color of deep anger as red lightning flashed. Bolts of fire were raining down from the skies, scoring the ground below. She could hear the screams of the horrified people as they all rushed away from their soon to be death. A dark figure stood a silhouette against the flaming skies. There seemed to be a dark aura surrounding, circling, the entire area, wherever it was. Then she caught a glimpse of someone. Their skin and hair were pure white. 'Ice Nymphs!?' she thought panically. The dark figure held his hand out, clenched his fist, and a huge bolt of fire hurtled towards her.
Elizabeth jolted out of the vision. She was sitting upright, breathing like she had just suffered a stroke. Her whole body was shaking, and her head hurt. Pushing her hair off her forehead, she muttered to herself, "The future... or the past..?"

"Tasty...?" Dai said with a slightly scared expression on his face. His eyes widened as the dragon blew smoke in the girl's face. Then he watched as the dragon walked off in search of food. His head whipped around to the girl as she started talking then fell for some reason. He almost caught her, but she hit the ground right before he could catch her. He kneeled down next to her to see if she was alright when she jolted back up. Then she said something about the future or the past. "Are you okay?" He asked her.

Athena heard something behind her, just as she had spotted prey. Sighing she turned her head to see Elizabeth fall to the ground. Her eyes grew wide. Forgetting about food she quickly headed back, her wings giving her aid in speed. Stopping by her as she was waking up Athena's harsh looking eyes ad melted into worry. Lowering her head she looked straight into Elizabeth's eyes. Understanding and concern came to her as she blinked knowingly at Elizabeth. "Give her room.." She said to Dai in a soft tone. Which was a stark contrast to her tone before. She sighed as she turned to Elizabeth. reaching down she touched Elizabeth's shoulder gently, allowing some energy to flow to her. Lifting her head she tilted her head, which meant that she was worried and asked. " That hasn't happened for a while.. are you ok?" She knew that this could be a draining experience, Elizabeth's visions always were.
