• This roleplay is PG-13.
  Therefore, some cursing/suggestive activity/violence is allowed. Do not go overboard. If you feel like a thread is getting a little risque for younger RPers, please put a [PG13] warning in the title of your thread for all of our sakes.
  
  
  
• Be considerate.
  The people behind these characters do have feelings. Even if you hate them to their everlasting grave, please compose yourself towards them. Also, any harassment of ANY kind will NOT be tolerated and will first result in a warning. If it happens again, you will be banned.
  
  
  
• Godmodding/powerplaying is a giant NO.
  It's difficult enough at times to control your own actions. Please don't attempt to do the same to anyone else. Your characters are your only puppets.
  
  
  
• Respect the Staff.
  Please, if I or another staff member informs you of something important you need to do, please do it. If you don't feel what we are saying is right, you can take that up with us afterwards.
  
  
  
• OOC also needs to stay at PG-13.
  Yes, I understand sometimes discussions can get out of hand, but we all need to be exercising our self-control here. Excessive cursing, overly sexual conduct, and threats/harassment are unacceptable.
  
  
  
• This is a Literate RP.
  When RPing, please write at least 200 WORDS. This helps others who are RPing with you have something to work with and reply to. This isn't a novel. We all can manage it.
  
  
  
• Side plots must be approved by staff.
  This includes any major twists or events that you're planning as well. We can't be left in the dark while you're running off creating World War III.
  
  
  
• There is no limit as to the number of characters.
  Don't, however, chew off more than you can swallow. Please stay within your range and attempt to keep all characters at least semi-active.
  
  
  
• Your pictures for characters do not have to be real people.
  Meaning you can use anime, cartoons, etc. for bios and signatures. Just make sure there is no pornography or otherwise inappropriate material on your pictures.
  
  
  
• PLEASE check your spelling and grammar before posting.
  We are not a troop of grammar Nazis, but try your hardest. Read back over your posts and correct any obvious mistakes so we're not all struggling to understand that you meant waffle but typed "wufel". It only takes a minute out of your life.
  
  
  
• Fluid-time is frowned upon.
  Please keep a character in one thread at a time. Once that thread has concluded or your character has officially left, then feel free to prance around to other threads. It makes for a better time line and less problems with activity.
  
  
  
• Activity checks are in existence.
  They will not be frequent, but please be aware of them. I ask that all members register with their active emails to make contact easier. If members are inactive for months on end, I'm sorry to say their accounts will be deleted
  
  
  
• Thread checks
  Every month, I will go through the threads and look to see which ones haven't been posted in a while. I will then send a mass PM with the names of these threads in them. At that time, if you wish to keep a certain thread alive, go post in it! All finished threads will be moved at this time.

[Continuation of IC Rules/Guidelines]

• This is a medieval fantasy role play.
  Therefore, modern technology does not exist. Please keep the time period in mind whilst creating your lovely characters.
  
  
  
• Any roleplayer can use minor characters or NPCs.
  These are people such as random passerby, nameless townsfolk, or otherwise insignificant wanderers. Please use sparingly.
  
  
  
• Battles and fights
  These need to be talked about before-hand to avoid a ten-page onslaught of dodging and counterattacking. The outcome must be decided previous to the battle starting since I am sure there will be quite a few of them.
  
  
  
• The Guardians are authority figures.
  Meaning, they're a lot like kings and queens. Which means you'd better respect them. Surely a rebellious stage here and there is perfectly acceptable, but you have to think of them like your all-seeing parents with cosmic powers. Ergo, not someone you want to mess with.
  
  
  
• Absolutely no one is invincible.
  None of us are gods, even the Guardians, so we all must have our weak spots. [Axel's is cookies.]
  
  
  
• THE WILDERNESS

This is a biggie. All the scary stuff written in the description was not just a bluff. The Wilderness will come after you, depending on who you are. Here are a few things you should know about this volatile place.

- Any Banished crossing through here WILL BE ATTACKED.

- Nomads are typically safe, depending on their reasons for coming through.

- Nomads can live in the Wilderness, but I don't know many that would want to.

- Creatures of the main lands of Eldarwin can usually travel safely through the Wilderness, but it's never a guarantee. The Wilderness is fickle and will do as it pleases. Nothing is set in stone.

- The Wilderness was created by the Guardians, therefore it serves the Guardians.

- The atmosphere of the Wilderness can change within an instant.

- The Wilderness is especially dangerous for any Earth-aligned creatures. This is where Lyelle, the previous Guardian of Earth, was killed. Her spirit still hangs within the trees and will react strongly with Earth creatures.

Three conditions of Wilderness:

--BENIGN

--FICKLE

--DEADLY


These will signal you as to how you will pass through here. Benign means it is safe to travel, as long as you are not a Banished. Therefore you can just go through to your next destination.

Fickle is a little more dangerous. Depending on whom it is, the Wilderness may or may not respond violently. Characters who are against the Guardian reign, even if they are not Banished, should be wary.

Deadly means you walk in here, you're gonna get jumped by something, somewhere. Practically no one is safe when this condition comes into play, except maybe the Guardians.
