It would have been a lie to say that Raven was coming through here just for relaxation. But, then again, she'd always been a good liar. But, at the moment, nobody could tell that the great black horse trotting along the shores was actually a girl who was trying to get away from her home in the Death Lands. Raven usually traveled like this, in some animal form, to escape the confines of her normal human life. Ever so quickly, she transformed back when she thought nobody was looking. Nobody will care if I just decide to sit here for a while, she thought to herself as she clambered up onto a rock and sat there. |

From the distance, a man was walking along the beach with a confident smirk and walk. This man would be Kaus walking towards a girl who was sitting on a rock and this was his new prey for the day. Kaus always needed to be some where with a women and there was one in front of him. It was the target for the day Though he couldn't get a good look at the girl from the distance, he hoped she was cute. This was the only requirement for Kaus. A cute girl and there he would be with her all day or until he got bored. Kaus reached towards the the girl rock and gave her a smiled and waved as if he was a good boy.

The instant she saw him, Raven knew there was something off about him. She merely hugged her knees to her chest, attempting to ignore him as he came closer and closer. When he finally smiled and waved, Raven knew she now couldn't simply ignore him. She actually had to try and make conversation, because it was merely polite to do so. And she naturally wasn't a very rude girl. So, Raven surprised herself by saying to the man, "What do you want?" She fixed him with a stern look in her chocolate brown eyes, warning him that she didn't like being messed with. |

In Kaus's mind, this girl wasn't the most beautiful girl in the world but she wasn't the ugliest. She was merely ordinary. Ugh.... is she seriously the only one around.... Kaus thought in his head seeing the girl though he kept his smile. It was a kind smile most people would be fooled over. A smile most girls would swoon over like some sort of object. Kaus kept this and when the girl responded with the rudeness and cold stare, Kaus managed to keep this smile even though he was annoyed by her. Why can't i walk and talk to a girl on the beach? Although a worthless commoner like me would never be able to speak to a high class women as such yourself Kaus said with a sort of kindness, flirtatious, and confident tune in his voice. This wasn't new to Kaus and even though this girl was not the perfect girl, he was the only one he could flirt with at the moment for a chance of "fun"

Even though, right from the start, something about this man threw her off... he was still handsome. Exceedingly so, and even though she didn't want to admit it, it was true. Not that she would ever say that out loud, of course. When he smiled, she forced herself not to react in any way. Instead, she tried to keep her face emotionless. However, the instant he spoke, her efforts were dashed. Raven rolled her eyes in annoyance at his attempt to flirt. Sure, he flattered her, but not in the way she particularly liked. "Because typically men don't walk around on beaches looking for girls," Raven responded with a crisp tone. She raised her chin. "And I'm no high-class lady. I'm a farmer." Her eyes narrowed as if he had insulted her. |

"Tsk.... Who does this chick think she is?" Kaus thought to himself but not hinting it as he kept his smile. He was annoyed by how the girl took his compliant and turned in into an insult. He tried to keep him kindness act out here and not attempt to insult her just yet. He would rather do this at a later time where he didn't have much interest in her anymore and could find someone else to have a fun with. Well I was just passing along during my travels. Seeing someone with such beautiful style like you has been harder to find. I apologize for the comment miss. I don't often confuse the two classes but you look so stunning out here that you just had to be on some sort of high quality of life. Kaus said this with a even brighter smile.

The sun shone down from the sky and seemed to reside in a girls hair. For her golden locks shone with a brilliance of a lakes surface, reflecting the suns light. Her skin was fair, yet had a golden tint to it. The whole effect made it seem as though her whole body was radiating a sort of glow, but if you didn't look to closely you would see nothing amiss. Her ears that were pointed slight stuck out from her updo and her deep amber eyes shone like hot coals.
Athena's footsteps were quiet and impossible to hear. So she came to the conversation at the end and seemed to just appear. Looking from the man to the lady she walked a little way off, enough to e included, but far enough away not to be intruding. Sitting down she tucked her feet close to her and gazed over the waters silently.

Raven narrowed her eyes even further. This man was most definitely a flirt, but she had to admit he was good. Of course, she had next to no experience at all in this field, as not many boys found it necessary to flirt with her. They usually went after the cuter village girls - the kind that kept to themselves and couldn't stand getting dirty. The kind Raven hated. "Beautiful style, huh?" she snorted. "I suppose I have some, don't I?" She decided to respond now, but that was when she spotted another young woman nearby. "But I think that girl over there has quite a bit more than I do," she suggested, her voice holding no bitterness whatsoever.

Elizabeth was moving with a purpose. She had been trying to find her old friend Athena for days now. Every place she visited she would ask someone, and they would say she had left some time ago. When they tried to make casual conversation with her, she simply dismissed it and continued on her way. It certainly was annoying. When she finally caught sight of her black, ruffling attire, it was not gladness that first filled her, but annoyance. "Finally, I've found you without you running off at the last possible moment!" she called out, stalking toward her with her long black hair now tied tightly into a braid trailing behind her. "Did you truly think running after you across this whole d*** world would do me any good, or were you just trying to send me on a wild goose chase?"

Within Kaus's mind, he smirked. He believed he made some progress with this girl and now he had more of a chance to get to know all what he called the unnecessary stuff to get what he wanted. Kaus smiled at her as she laughed. What a.....disgusting laugh Kaus said to himself while still keeping the kindness on his face. When the girl mentioned another girl, his mind began to ponder again What to do.... Stick with this....or have a chance with another girl Kaus repeated this in the labyrinth of his mind then decided. Kaus didn't have a problem hurting this girl but he wasn't an idiot either. if he left the girl for some one else right now, he would have to start all over with this game and he would prefer not to play this game all over again.
"I dont need to turn back knowing she has no comparison to you. Kaus said to the girl in front of him not even turning back. he didnt want to know at the moment if the other girl was better in terms of beauty because this game would be more difficult for Kaus. He just wanted to do this quick and not start over. This was just for the rest of the day.

Ruuna walked all around feeling lonely and sad. She had left her foster mother because her mother knew it was time for Ruuna to show the World that she is here. She lifted her head and to simply look at the moon. So gorgeous every month, she thought. She then lowered her head a little and kept on walking. No adventure these days and no danger, she thought. She sighed as she blowed the hair off of her eyes.
She came to see a girl and a boy. Whoa. She kept on looking at them. Good thing that I learned to control my powers. I would be absorbing everyone's power! she sweated at the thought as she put her finger below her mouth. She walked towards them only to greet herself. "Hi. My name's Ruuna. What are your names?" she asked.

Raven rolled her eyes yet again. Now, she wasn't a stupid girl, but she was prone to flattery. She leaned back against the rock she was perched on and sighed. It had been a mistake to come here, and she saw that now. She needed to get to the Life lands to see some old friends, not sit here and waste time flirting with some boy who obviously knew what he was doing. "Well the reason she isn't in comparison to me is because you can't compare her to me anyway. You haven't even looked," Raven pointed out. "Look, she even has a friend now. There's two." |

Ruuna looked confused. "A-are you speaking about me?" she asked her. Ruuna would never talk about someone that she doesn't even know in front of them. She twisted her blue-white hair. All I wanted was to know their names and make friends. How is that a crime? she wondered. She lowered her eyes and her heart began to beat faster. Her anger almost over flowed. She would want to absorb this girl's power whatever it was if she answered her question in a negative way.

Athena's fiery gaze shifted from the calm waters to Elizabeth. The faintest smile danced on her lips, but soon faded. A smile from her was rare, and only good friends succeeded in pulling it from her. "Ah, I was wondering how long it would take you to catch up Elizabeth.." She brushed a stray piece of hair from her face and gingerly put it back into the intricate bun that held her flowing hair.
Looking from Elizabeth to Kaus she looked him from head to toe with a disapproving eye. "Men.." She thought to herself as she looked at the new comer. Picking herself up she brushed the dust off her ruffle black dress and turned her gaze back to Elizabeth. Usually she did not show emotion, mainly because the human form took a lot of concentration to keep. Even though she was a master at magic, if she lost to much she would go back into her normal form, which could be dangerous for her. "I thought you would enjoy some exercise for once."

Ruuna didn't want to be ignored. She just wanted an answer from any of these people. "What's going on?" she asked another question. She hoped that this one might get an answer this time. She was an impatient girl and can get angry very easily. She sighed. Ruuna then looked at the boy. Is he the problem? she wondered.
