He laughed at her playfully smacking his hand and his blue eyes twinkled with delight. "Don't worry." He winked at her. " I will." Taking another berry he popped it into his mouth when he suddenly listened. "actually I might just do it right now..." Walking forward into a spot of tall grass he waited. Crouching down his tall form was completely hidden from view. The sound of munching on the grass told him that there was a rabbit near by. closing his eyes he used his earth power to see where the rabbit was. It was a little ways off, but not out of reach. "Forgive me..." And with that he broke the spine of the rabbit without even touching the thing. Then striding forward he keeled down and cleaned the rabbit with her short knife that he kept with him. Coming back he presented the rabbit to Ebony with a bow. "For you Ma'dam."

Ebony's eyes widened with amazement as she watched his precision, a feat that was impossible for her to ever accomplish. She realized he must have alot of talent in his element, unlike herself. Laughing, she curtsied back and replied, "Thank you, kind sir." She examined the work he had made of the rabbit, not doubting him, just making sure it was done properly. She was very particular about her meat, which might have been why she hardly caught anything.
She held it by its feet and glanced back at the pot of berries, not wanting to be weighed down by it. However, she knew it would provide many uses, so it had to be brought. Sighing regretfully, she said, "I suppose we should continue on... Even if it does never get dark, the wild animals like to feast at what we call 'night.'" She took a step forward, glancing back wistfully at the pot of berries. She was about to go back and pop a few in her mouth, but she reasoned with herself. More now, less later.

Apollo laughed and nodded at her reasoning. "Good thinking." Turning to the pot he lifted it with a smooth motion. "Thank goodness for my powers...I wouldn't be able to survive without them.. or it would be a lot harder." Turning to her he waddled up to her with the pot in his arms. "So how far is your place from here? You sure have come a long way." Shifting his grip on the pot he was ready to follow her. The light didn't seemed to have dimmed a bit. "This place has changed so much... A place with out darkness." He shook his head with the thought. "Light is a good thing but to much of it.. it kills things." He sighed for a moment the guardians sure had a lot to handle these days. Hopefully more guardians would raise up and would help them out. How much longer could the two hold out?

As they walked through the damp grass, she tried to judge the distance. Measuring and math were not her strong points. She decided to use the nature around her to judge the distance. She narrowed her eyes and searched for some landmark. "Well, if I had to guess..." She stuck her thumb out in front of her to judge the distance.
"Past those ferns is most likely part of the border of this territory. It's not too far, maybe a couple yards. We can most likely find a roundabout route so we don't have to walk all the way across the Open Fields. I know a way that's a bit difficult to navigate, but it should get us there faster." She stopped walking and looked at the foliage on either side of them. "Alright, we're heading the right way," she concluded confidently.
((I guess we could end it here and then move to the pasture))

Apollo smiled and nodded. "Well I'm glad I have a guide! I would get hoplessly lost." He got a better grip on the pot and continued farther. Every step took more effort, but he was up to it. "I wonder where she lives.." He thought. Surely if she had a father still living he wouldn't approve of her going this far alone, into the wilderness. But then again he probably wouldn't approve of her walking with a guy that he didn't know. A smile came o his lips as he thought about this. " Oh well..." He thought as he glanced at Ebony. At least this hadn't been an unpleasant walk.
His blue eyes grew reflective as he thought about his past. He had always been a wandering soul, especially after Axel left. There had been nothing to tie him down in one place. So his feet had carried him to far places. It would be nice to have somewhere to call home though, but that probably wasn't going to happen.
