In this humble world of ours, given the name of Eldarwin,there is a strange secret that quietly hums throughout this land. The tale of the Guardians, who all possessed wonderful abilities and power. Once an old wives tale, passed down through generation to generation, it has become a truth. The Guardians, strong and true, merely exist to protect their people in any means possible. Two Guardians remain standing, both against each other's will. The Guardian of Death, mighty and mysterious, safely guides the souls of those who have passed on to their resting place. The Guardian of Life, gentle but powerful, protecting the souls who have not yet passed on.
Now, there were others, as you can well imagine. Air, Fire, Earth, Water, Light, Dark; all possessing unique and critical positions. None of them approved of the Death Guardian, for he was forced into his reign. As time went on, slowly some acceptance grew. But, a terrible mistake and a rage for power pushed them away, leaving them destroyed by Life and Death. Any who tried to overthrow them would surely not succeed.
No descendants of these lost Guardians have been found, so Life and Death are on a neverending search for the ones who will take their place, and put our world back in harmony. It is a difficult and time consuming task to prove yourself to this mighty Twosome, but its worth it in the end.
However, this once childhood fairytale has quickly turned into a nightmare.
The feeling of the end draws nearer as the remaining Guardians begin to lose hope. How will they ever find those who can take the place of the ones deceased? The longer they are on their own, the worse it continues to get...
