Hades stepped out onto a grave. He was bored and for some reason this was what he decided to do. Dark Elves loved graveyards. Especially this one. They were always peaceful, and he loved peace. It was dark and a bit foggy as well. It was the perfect place for him. He let the darkness swirl around him after he sat on a tombstone. It seemed as if he was given a dark robe, or a cape of sorts. It was utter blackness around his torso, just swirling constantly. He couldn't even feel it on his skin, which made it more comfortable. It made him slightly more happy than he had been in a long while. His ears caught every small sound of the wind as it whistled through.

Violet had lost Axel. Even though she had followed him ardently, she had lost him. A weight seemed to be tugging at her heart and soul. So much happiness Axel had experienced lately. A tear fell from her eyes and started to trail down her cheek. Lifting her hand she quickly wiped it away. Here was a place that she could let out her grief, and no one would mind. She was a creature of darkness, and darkness abounded here. Closing her eyes she wandered blindly forward. Her foot caught on a stone, sending her crashing on the cobblestone pathway. Curses flowed freely from her mouth as she picked herself up off the ground.
Her eyes fell upon a small tombstone, it was the headstone of a young toddler. She paused a moment and silently read it. The toddler had died at the age of 5. Her eyes closed slightly as she sighed. “I would have been better off dead. Anything is better than to be living but dead on the inside.” Her hand brushed away another tear. The black hand on her arm had been carefully covered by cloth, hiding it from view.
The deep blue depths of her eyes were revealed as she lifted her gaze once more to the moon. Oblivious to the other person nearby, who had probably seen the whole thing. Instead her face was bathed in white as she gazed upward.

Hades' ears caught the sound of the girl's footsteps while she was still a distance away. He could tell she was depressed, just with one quick glance. He couldn't tell what, obviously, but the sadness somehow transferred to him. It ruined his peacefulness. He sighed lightly and truend to the girl, who was not too far from the tombstone he was on. "Do not think of it that way. Nobody is better off dead. I almost learned that the hard way." He said to her is a calm, even voice. His red eyes seemed to glow in the darkness. He understood this girl's feelings, he felt the same on the day he massacred all the others. Her eyes were actually amazing. He hadn't seen such in his life, not so far anyway.

Violet's head jerked to the side as she turned toward voice that seemed to come from no where. Before her was what looked like a dark elf with piercing red eyes. His gentle words seemed to speak with his own aching, his own hurt. For once she felt like someone understood. But did he really?
She tore her eyes from his and looked back toward the moon. "Can that be true? Death would bring an end to all my problems, and peace to my heart. How could I really be better here. With a wound that will never heal." Her eyes dropped and she glanced toward the elf. IN those deep blue depths there was a pleading, yet a dangerous pride resided in them.
then they dropped once more. "Forgive me.. I don't mean to burden you with my problems. After all no doubt you have plenty of your own. " A shy sad smile came to her lips as she brushed her raven black hair behind her ear.

Hades still looked at her through her little rant type thing. Her eyes betrayed her true feelings. Pride and a sort of pleading, he wasn't sure for what, but it was there. "Yes, you are right. I do have problems, most of them beginning before even your great great grandparents were born." He said, his eyes also going to the moon for a moment. "And don't worry, my problems are going to just get more and more numerous as the days go by. Being one of them isn't something like I thought it would be." He said, closing his eyes. His eyes again focused on her.

Violet's eyes turned to him for a moment and she studied his upturned face as he talked. But as he looked down at her she glanced away. "You...." She looked at him. "You are a guardian?" Those red eyes of his, they reminded her of Axel. "Oh Axel.. " she thought. For once in her life she had fallend for someone, and trusted someone, only to be betrayed. How could she learn to trust anyone again?
"Well congrats on the honor of being a guardian.. this world need them...desperately.." Her mind was thinking of another guardian. Another guardian who had dark hair and bright red eyes that seemed to peer into the depths of her soul. But then the memory of being on those shores, his eyes full of anger, his touch so chilling. Just the memory made her shudder slightly, even though the night was warm.
"No doubt you will help make the world a better place."

"Yes. I am, the new Guardian of Darkness." Hades said, a sort of comforting smile formed on his face. At least she could smile, although it was a sad one. His red eyes seemed to pierce into her and read her, although the looking told him nothing that he didn't know. He nodded at her second comment, because he knew it was true. He dispersed the darkness around him and the cape-like darkness on him disappeared. "Everyone can help the world be a better place. It's just that the Guardians help out more." He said, turning to her with a smile.

Violet hid the sad face that she wore behind her more usual serious one. In her hand a ball of darkness formed in her hand. "Well I congratulate you.. It's not every day that Darkness gets a master..". The mask fell from her face and she looked at him, struggling to keep it on. "Perhaps.. but then there are always those who make it worse aren't there?" she turned from him and frowned. It seemed like it was always her luck to do so. She turned back toward him and realized how bright his smile was. But then she faced away from him again.
To smile.. that had been a while. Not just the fake smile that she had done, but a true heart warming smile. "Sometimes guardians just make it worse." Her head bowed slightly as she realized that she had said that out loud. Turning quickly she blushed from embarrassment. "I mean.. I'm... sure you will make a great guardian.. Not every guardian is like you though.. right?"

Hades nodded. He held his hands out to his sides and began to gather darkness around him. It swirled around him in the form of a galaxy shape. It reformed the cape thing made of darkness. When she said that there are those that make it worse, at first he thought it was him she was talking about. He laughed a little bit when she was all messed up. "Thank you. And no, not all of them are like me. I might actually be the calmest and most peaceful of all of them." He said, his eyes averted from her once more. Her sadness was still a bit evident to his eyes, so he just wanted to give her some kind of comfort.

"Well that's good." Her face turned down as her body turned away from him. Her long raven black hair hung over her face, shielding it from anyone looking and reading what she was thinking. "And you are to kind...I'm sure that...you must think me weak.." Her eyes, if you could have seen them, would have been sparkling with emotion.
Violet clasped her hands behind her, the pale white skin seemed to glow in the moonlight. "Don't you wish, that you could jump into the sky and just look down and watch the world turn? You could see what everyone is doing and not have a care in the world.." A crooked smile came to her face as her hand rested on the cloth that was over the black hand on her arm. Her voice dropped, "Where no one could tell you no, and no one would hurt you. Where everything that happened down here was just a story, a play that you would be watching.."

"No. Not really weak, just...distraught." Hades said. He knew that she couldn't be weak, the pride he'd seen before couldn't be born of weakness. Hades listened to her little speech. "Yes, sometimes I do. But if I were just in the audience all I could do was observe. I wouldn't be able to intervine." He said, sounding as wise as he could. After all 500 was the age where wisdom should be there. His red eyes focused on the big white circle in the sky, it was his even unchanging friend.

Violet looked down at the ground, it was as if she was memorizing every crack on the surface of the stones. Distraught, yes that is what she was. He was wise, that was for sure. She gave him a side long glance as he gazed up at the moon. For some reason he had comforted her. And as his red eyes gazed up toward the moon she envied his peace.
Yes, he would make a fine guardian. He would bring peace to this chaotic world. Just as he was starting to make her chaotic heart come to some sort of serenity. She tore her eyes from him and looked at the ground around her. “Can..” She paused for a moment. “Can a broken heart ever be able to be healed?”

Hades' red eyes flicked to the side, in time to see her look at him. She had an envious look in her eyes, a look he had seen quite a few times. Then she asked him one of the questions he wasn't sure about. "I would say that it can. After all, people can fall in love more than once. I'm sure you will find someone other than the one who broke your heart." He said to her. He knew his words may or may not be the truth, but they would probably heal her up a bit inside.

Violet’s blue eyes were glimmering brightly in the moonlight. The deep blue depths looked so hopeful so trusting. Something that was rare on her. Why was she so open to this guy that she barely knew? “He probably thinks you’re a baby..” She thought to herself. A sigh passed her lips as she turned away. “I can only hope..” She held a black necklace in her hand as she closed her eyes tightly. “I can only help” The words were like a soothing balm on her heart, yet still, they didn’t numb the pain.
She opened her eyes to his and said in a very heartfelt way, “Thank you.. for….listening.” She managed a crooked smile before turning her head away. She didn’t want the conversation to end, but she didn’t know what else to say. Perhaps this world would be a better place, perhaps her life would take a new turn and she would fall in love once again, with someone that would love her back. Perhaps…but no matter what she said to herself she knew that she would never loose her affection to her first love. He had taking a bit of her heart, a bit that wouldn’t return.

Fang walked along a trail. Her long glossy, yet gloomy dress illuminated the skies. She simply wanted to travel like her friend had. Fang enjoyed the thrill of action and adventure. Her pale face along with her dull purple eyes seemed not to shine. She didn't smile for anything. She stayed calm for all as we know it. She didn't know what to do now since nothing is happening. Yetl, she thought. She knew there will be war somehow. The sinking feeling wanted her to run away. Though she didn't and she wasn't afraid. She was strong as the elemental Gaurdians. Though not as powerful as them, she knew it was right, but didn't care. She then saw a dark elf and a girl. Probably Hades, the elemental Gaurdian of Darkness. She didn't knew the girl though.
