"I suppose they do. But my life's brightness was etinguished by myself a long time ago." Hades said, his eyes getting a distant look in them. Flowers, nothing could brighten uphis day to the extent he needed it. Only one person could do that and she died hundreds of years ago. A touch of sadness came into his eyes as well. Normally nobody would think of a dark elf as something being sad, Usually angry, yes, but never sad. A small shadow formed a black rose in his hand. A symbol of his sadness, as of now.

Kaylen twirled as she looked at the dark elf before her. Her smile flickered and faded as he was looking at a black rose, made out of shadow. "How beautiful..." She looked at the rose intently. There was a deep sadness that seemed to be contained in the rose. Looking down at the ground she closed her eyes and let her hand hover over the ground. A bush with thorns grew, but was only of one stalk. The plant grew rapidly and soon a bud grew into a flower. The petals were inky black but had a dull shine on their velvety petals. Plucking it from the ground without cutting her finger she held it up to him. "But even from the ashes of a past fire, a new fire cane be made. It can shine brighter than the earlier one ever did." She smiled as she held the flower out to him. A slight smile played on her lips again as she gave it too him. Curtsying to him she then turned and skipped out of the place, without saying goodbye. The goodbye wasn't verbal, but instead resided in that black rose. They would meet again, sometime perhaps, but for now. It was farewell.
