Greg smiled then let go of her. He kicked his legs a few times and he was at the surface. His hair was all over his face. "This is just great." He said with a sigh. He moved it aside and waited for Drama. He floated on his stomach and stared into the water. There were actually a few fish at the bottom. He pulled apart the darkness to see them better. He swam over in front of the waterfall. His head was pretty much covered in the spraying water. "Bad spot." He said and swam back over to where he was.

Drama burst through to the surface laughing like a lunatic. She tried to control herself, but couldn't stop. It was about ten minutes before she finally calmed down. She swam over to Greg, "You don't know what you've started," She whispered, trying to sound dangerous, but unable to keep the huge goofy grin off her face. She put her hand on his back and pushed, just hard enough so that he went completely underwater and before he had time to come back up, she climbed up and sat on his shoulders.

Greg was surprised when he was pushed under. Then suddenly Drama was sitting on his shoulders. He started kicking a litlle so that his haead would come up. "No, You don't know what you've started." He said. His head went down and he swam as fast as he could in circles. He was pushing the water from in front of his face so he could keep it up a little. It didn't really seem to work so he just pushed her off his shoulders. Then he did the hug thing again except this time they were sort of face to face and at the surface. "Got you again." He smiled.

Drama wiggled slightly, not really trying to break free, "So you do." She said with a small smile. "Good mood," She whispered, "Back." Greg seemed to have that effect on her, she realized. At first she had thought it was just because she was practically anti-social, but when Bael had gotten her so angry, she realized it was just Greg that had gotten her in a good mood. It had been so long since she had been her old self, laughing, smiling goofing off. She hadn't felt so happy go-lucky since she was human. Since before her name became her lifestyle. But here she was now, acting just like she thought she never would again.

Greg was still smiling. "That's good. I would hope you weren't in a bad one." He whipered. He never acted like this too much, even when he was human. It was really like she was the only one who could lat him have fun in something other than battle. Battling was almost the only other fun he had. Drinking blood was a little fun sometimes, depending on how he did it. 'Is this really how...relationships...start?' He thought to himself. He never really had anything like this before.

Drama pushed her wet and clingy hair back behind her ear and smiled at him, "So, are we done competing?" She asked, a sly smile playing on her lips. She started to lean a little closer to him, but stopped herself, not sure what he would think of that. She wasn't sure if he liked her as much as she liked him, or if he just wanted to be friends.

Greg looked at her. If his heart could really beat, it probably would have been doing it pretty fast right now. "I guess we're done with our little competition. For now at least." He let out a little laugh. Then she started leaning closer to him but she stopped. "Why did you stop?" He asked with a fanged smile. He leaned closer to her and put his forehead against hers. "What did you want to do now?" He asked still giving her the smile. He knew the most probable answer, but then he really didn't want an answer.

Drama wasn't actually going to answer verbally at first. Actions speak louder than words, right? But just as she had leaned in close enough, she pulled away. "Something I'm too nervous to do," She answered him. She had never been good with relationships, and being an anti-social vampire who had only had very little contact to other beings in the past four hundred years didn't help her at all. She knew she wouldn't be able to make the first move.

"It's okay." Greg said. He was a little let down from what he thought would happen. "I've never really felt anything this...good before. I can wait for it, no need to go too fast, right?" He said with a tone you could tell he was a bit saddened. He wasn't sure if he should stop the hug so his arms were still around her. "This will do for now, I suppose." He said. He leaned over to her and pressed his lips against her cheek. Then he pulled back with a smile.

Drama knew she had dissappointed him, but she also knew her social skills were horrible. She was nervous, she just couldn't. With a deep breath and a long sigh, she pulled herself away from his arms and slowly made her way back to the shore. It hadn't occured to her that she would have to wait to dry off since there was no other way. She wrung out her hair and laid down in a soft patch of leaves, knowing the leaves would most likely get stuck to her wet hair and body.

Greg let out a long sigh as well. It was true that he was disapointed, but he could deal with it. He flipped onto his back and stared into the sky. A couple of birds flew across the range of his vision. They flew around for a second then flew off. Greg swam over to the shore and sat with his legs in the water. He was a little sad since they had to stop there. His eyes went over to Drama. She was laying in leaves. He stood and walked over, "You know, those are going to be stuck all over you now." He laughed a little.

Drama allowed herself a small giggle, "Then I supposed I should be a wood sprite or an elf for the day rather than a vampire." She laughed, grabbing a handful of leaves and chucking them at Greg. She watched them slowly float back to the ground a few feet shy of him. She sat up, able to feel the weight of the leaves in her wet and tangled hair, and reached for her purple silk purse with gold trim. She pulled her hairbrush from it, an intricate, handmade silver brush that her mother had made for her long before she had become a vampire. She ran a finger over the pattern molded into the tarnished silver before running it through her hair a few times to get the leaves and tangles out.

Greg laughed at what Drama said. He also watched the leaves float to the ground. He was thinking of commenting on it, but she would probably hurt him for it. A small laugh escaped his mouth from the thought. His eyes went to the shining object in the corner of his eyes. The brush Drama was pulling through her hair was beautifully made. He watched it as it flowed through her hair, which also amazed him for some reason. Well, he did know but he didn't really want to think about it too deeply for now.

Drama put her hairbrush away again, watching Greg closely and wondering about the spacey expression on his face. She realized, distantly, that she really didn't know this man at all. Why did she trust him? She couldn't will herself not to, or more so she didn't want to distrust him. "greg," she said quietly. She patted the ground next to her, hoping he didn't have too much of a problem with sitting on dirt and leaves, "could we get to know each other a little better? If it is okay with you."
